Share a template of an agent

You can share a template of your agent with anyone through a public link. When you share an agent's template, anyone who visits the link can create a new agent with the same instructions, actions, and knowledge sources.

Create a template link

1. From the Zapier Agents home, select your agent.
2. Click Share on the top right. A dialog box will open.
3. Click Generate template link.
4. Click Copy link to copy the unique link to your clipboard.

Note

Connected knowledge sources will only be available to users who already have access to that file.

Using a template link

When a user clicks a shared template link, it displays all the agent's settings, and they can make changes before creating the template. These changes do not affect the original agent. If the user connects an app account that does not have access to the included knowledge
source, the agent will display an error.

To create a new agent from a template:

1. Visit the template link.
2. Click Use this template.  
3. You can edit the fields in the Configure screen.

Tip

You can also give access to your agent to other users of your Zapier account.

Delete a template link

1. From your agent's Configure or Activity screen, click Share. A dialog box will open.
2. Click Delete template link.
3. The dialog box will ask you to confirm the action. Click Delete link to confirm.
