You see the error message “Error while retrieving: Cannot read properties of undefined (reading 'map')” when trying to use the New Lead trigger for Facebook Lead Ads. This typically occurs in the Zap editor, but may appear in your Zap history too.
Causes
You’ll see this error if the Form dropdown menu is currently set to “Default (Any Form)” and your Facebook Lead Ads account has insufficient permissions to access all forms associated with your Facebook account.
How to fix
To fix this issue:
- Upgrade your Facebook Lead Ads account permissions
- Reconnect your Facebook Lead Ads account after you upgrade your permissions.
- In your Zap, re-select your form from the dropdown menu.
NoteYou must set up separate Zaps for each Facebook Lead Ads form you want to trigger from.
