The Zapier Chatbots trial is available to all users on a Free Chatbots account. It will automatically begin when you create your first Chatbot on your Zapier account.
With a trial, you can test all the paid features of Zapier Chatbots for 14 days. This includes all Advanced plan features:
- Add knowledge sources and schedule a knowledge source sync.
- Collect custom lead information.
- Embed your chatbot as a pop-up or inline on your website.
- Customizable colors and branding.
- Remove the Zapier label.
- Use different AI models by connecting your own API key.
- Add AI-generated suggestions.
Zapier Chatbots trials are separate from Zaps trials. You can begin a Chatbots trial even if you have already finished your Zaps trial.
Trial limitations
During the trial, your Chatbots account is limited to:
- 2 chatbots.
- Up to 500Kb usage for knowledge source per chatbot.
Additionally, if you are on a Team or Enterprise Zapier plan, the Chatbots trial will be available to all account members at the same time, and the number of chatbots will be shared amongst all account members.
What happens once the trial ends
If you upgrade to a paid plan during the trial, you'll maintain the limits of the plan you select. Learn more about the features and limits of each plan.
If you do not upgrade your account to a paid plan within 14 days, any chatbot that uses paid features will be locked, and your account will be put on the Free Chatbots plan. You will not be able to edit chatbots with paid features, and any embedded chatbots will be disabled.
The settings of a locked chatbot are saved, so you can upgrade at any time to regain access. However, if you delete the chatbot, it cannot be recovered, even if you upgrade.
Extend your trial
Your free trial lasts 14 days. At the end of your initial period, you can extend the trial one time for three extra days. You'll see a button within your Chatbots home to automatically request the extension.
