The Remove All Digests action in Digest by Zapier deletes specified digests and their entries. This is useful if a digest has reached its 1,500-entry limit, or you need to delete unneeded digests.
This article will explain how to set up and use this action.
Caution: permanent deletion
The Remove All Digests action permanently deletes one or more specified digests and all their stored entries. This is considered an advanced action, and once executed, cannot be undone. Any digests and entries deleted during testing cannot be recovered.

As digests are related to your Zapier user ID, this action will remove digests you own and their associated entries in ANY account you've joined, not just the one you're currently signed on to.
Setting up the Remove All Digests action
In the Configure tab for this action, you'll find the following fields to complete:
Filters
You can use filters to restrict which digests to remove:
- Digest Name Prefix: Deletes digests whose name starts with a specific text.
- Digest Name Postfix: Deletes digests whose name ends with a specific text.
- Digest Name Contains: Deletes digests whose name contains a specific text anywhere.
- Digest Name Exact Match: Deletes digests whose name exactly matches this text.
Filters use an AND logical operator. This means the action will delete any digest that matches any of the filter fields (Prefix, Postfix, Contains, Exact Match).
You can use more than one filter field to delete multiple digests at once.

You set the field Digest Name Prefix to Q1_
and the field Digest Name Contains to report
. The action will delete both the digest named Q1_Sales
and the one named Financial_report
.
