When using WhatsApp Notifications Send Message action in your Zaps, you see the error message "Cannot read properties of undefined (reading ‘map’)". You may see this error when setting up a Zap or in the details of a Zap run in your Zap history.
Causes
This happens when:
- You’ve not selected a template.
- You used a custom value in the Template field. You cannot create your own template within Zapier. You must use one of the available pre-defined templates to send a message.
How to fix it
To fix this issue:
- In the Template field:
- Click the three dot icon .
- Select Static.
- Select a pre-defined template.
- (Optional) If you want more templates, send your suggestions to the Zapier Support team.
