Limitations
- API rate limits apply. Trello imposes rate limits of 300 requests per 10 seconds per API key and 100 requests per 10 seconds per token. Exceeding these limits results in Error 429 - Rate limit exceeded.
- Trello Power-Up fields cannot be accessed in Zapier triggers or actions, so that information isn't available in Zaps.
- The "Move card to a different list" action only works for moving between lists on the same board. You cannot move a card to a different board through Zapier.
- When triggering on new cards across all boards, you must be a member of those cards for Zapier to pick them up. Otherwise, you need to build separate workflow for each board.
- For New Activity or New Comment in Card triggers, not selecting a specific board means only activities or comments that you created will trigger your workflow.
- When a card is moved from one board to another, it's considered a "New Card" by Trello, not a "Card Moved To List" event. The "Card Moved To List" trigger only works within the same board.
