About Wufoo's app
Triggers, searches, and actions
Triggers
- New Entry (poll) - Triggers when someone fills out your form. This is a slow version wherein we check periodically for new entries. (Polling)
- New Form - Triggers when you build a new form. (Polling)
- New Subscription Entry - Triggers when someone fills out your form. (Instant)
- New Field - Triggers when a new field is added to a form. (Polling)
- New Entry - Triggers when someone fills out your form instantly using webhooks (but you will need to create the webhooks manually). (Instant)
Searches
- Find a Submission - Find a form submission by a field and its value.
Actions
- Create Entry - Creates a new entry in Wufoo for a form and data you select.
- Create Entry (Legacy) - Creates a new entry in Wufoo for a form and data you select (except not files).
New Entry trigger setup
This instant trigger requires you to copy a unique URL from Zapier and paste it into your Wufoo form settings.
- Copy the webhook URL in Zapier.
- In your Zapier workflow, ensure the New Entry trigger step is selected.
- Navigate to the Test tab within the trigger setup.
- Click the Copy button next to the unique webhook URL.
- Configure the webhook in Wufoo.
- Follow Wufoo's documentation to set up a webhook.
- When prompted for the webhook address, paste the Zapier's webhook URL, as the webhook URL into the designed field.
- Save your Wufoo form settings to complete the connection.
Limitations
- Maximum number of integrations per form is limited. You may receive a "403: You have reached the maximum number of integrations allowed for this form" error when trying to create too many Zaps for a single form.
- Daily API usage limits exist and can be exceeded, resulting in "HTTP 421: You have exceeded your daily API usage" errors when using the "New Entry (poll)" trigger for multiple workflows.
- API usage is restricted per key, per day and depends on your Wufoo plan. Check the Wufoo pricing page for specific request limits.
- Multi-select and checkbox fields are not supported by Zapier integration.
- A paid Wufoo plan is required to integrate with Zapier. Free plans will receive "402: Payment Required" errors.
- Forms with "Allow only one entry per user" setting enabled may cause issues with the Create Entry action due to IP address limitations from Zapier's servers.
- Webhooks cannot use your account timezone settings and will use PST server time instead. To correct this, use Formatter to adjust the date/time output from Wufoo.
- To use the New Entry trigger trigger (instant), you will need to add the Zapier webhook URL into Wufoo. The Zapier Webhook will appear on the trigger's Test tab for you to copy into Wufoo.
