Zoho CRM and Zapier connect to automate your sales work. You can trigger actions when new leads or contacts are added and create or update CRM entries.

Prerequisites
To use the Zoho CRM app on Zapier, you must have:
- An active Zoho CRM account (free plan supports up to 3 users, or any paid plan).
- A paid Zapier plan. Zoho CRM is as a premium app on Zapier.
- User permissions must match the actions you want to perform in Zapier. Admin privileges are needed to create, or update records. A non-admin account can use Zapier to find and read data from their own account.
- API access enabled in your Zoho CRM account. You may need to contact your Zoho CRM administrator to enable API access if it's not already enabled.
Connect Zoho CRM to Zapier
To create an app connection to Zoho CRM on Zapier:
- Go to the Apps page.
- Click + Add connection.
- A new dialog box will appear. Search for and select Zoho CRM.
- Click Add connection.
- A Connect an Account page will open in a browser tab or window.
- In the Select Zoho Domain, select your Zoho domain.
- Log into Zoho CRM to authenticate.
- Grant Zapier permission to access your account if prompted to.
Your Zoho CRM account is now successfully connected to Zapier.

- New Contact (Polling) - Triggers when a new contact is created. If you are on a paid plan for the Zoho CRM then it is advisable to use New Module Entry (Instant) trigger.
- New Module Entry (Instant) - Triggers instantaneously when any entry is created in the specified module.
- New or Updated Lead (Polling) - Triggers when a new lead is added or modified in Zoho. If you are on a paid plan for the Zoho CRM then it is advisable to use New/Updated Module Entry (Instant) trigger.
- New User (Polling) - Triggers when a new active user is added to your Zoho CRM account.
- New Lead (Polling) - Triggers when a new lead is created. If you are on a paid plan for the Zoho CRM then it is advisable to use New Module Entry (Instant) trigger.
- New or Updated Contact (Polling) - Triggers when a new contact is added or modified in Zoho. If you are on a paid plan for the Zoho CRM then it is advisable to use New/Updated Module Entry (Instant) trigger.
- New/Updated Module Entry (Instant) - Triggers instantaneously when any entry is created or updated in the specified module.
- Updated Module Entry (Instant) - Triggers instantaneously when a module entry is updated.

- API Request (Beta) - This is an advanced action which makes a raw HTTP request that includes this integration's authentication.
Limitations
- API rate limits apply. Zoho CRM uses a credit system where different API operations consume different amounts of credits, with daily limits based on your edition (Free: 5,000 credits, Standard: up to 100,000 credits, etc.)
- Custom Modules are not currently supported by the New Entry trigger. Zoho CRM's API limits you to the standard modules only.
- Zoho requires a specific date format (2016-05-10 09:40:35) and will throw errors if dates are not properly formatted.
- When setting the "Account Owner", Zoho expects the user's email address, not their name, for proper lookup functionality.
- Workflow triggers may not work due to plan restrictions (some workflows are only available on Enterprise plans) or permission issues.
