Prerequisites
To use the Zendesk app on Zapier, you must have:
- Administrator permissions in your Zendesk account with API access enabled.
- A Zendesk Team plan or higher.
- A paid Zapier plan. Zendesk is a premium app on Zapier.
Connect Zendesk to Zapier
To create an app connection to Zendesk on Zapier:
- Go to the Apps page.
- Click + Add connection.
- A new dialog box will appear. Search for and select Zendesk.
- Click Add connection.
- A Connect an Account page will open in a browser tab or window.
- Complete the following fields:
- Account: Enter your Zendesk subdomain.
- Agent Email: Enter your Zendesk administrator email address.

API Token: Enter your Zendesk API token.
- Learn more about finding your Zendesk API token.
- Click Yes, Continue to Zendesk.
Your Zendesk account is now successfully connected to Zapier.

Limitations
API rate limits apply based on your Zendesk plan. Team plans are limited to 200 requests per minute, Growth and Professional plans to 400 requests per minute, Enterprise to 700 requests per minute, and Enterprise Plus to 2500 requests per minute.
