Webflow and Zapier connect to automate your website workflows. You can trigger actions when forms are submitted and create or update CMS items.
Prerequisites
To use the Webflow app on Zapier, you must have:
- An active Webflow account (free Starter plan or any paid site plan).
- For form submission triggers: At least one form submission must have been received through your Webflow form before connecting to Zapier (you can submit a test submission if needed).
- To use CMS collections and items, you'll need a CMS site plan ($23/month or higher) to access CMS Collections and API functionality.
- For file upload backup workflows: Login security for uploaded files must be disabled in Site settings Forms "Restrict uploaded file access" set to off.

Limitations
- API rate limits apply. Webflow enforces rate limits based on your site plan - Starter and Basic plans are limited to 60 requests per minute, while CMS, eCommerce, and Business plans allow 120 requests per minute. Exceeding these limits results in HTTP 429 errors.
- Webflow CMS is limited to a maximum of 10,000 items per site across all collections, and this limit cannot be increased.
- CMS reference and multi-reference fields cannot be mapped to Zapier fields when creating or updating CMS items.
- Video links sent to the CMS via API (including Zapier) will not render immediately. You need to manually open the Collection item, click into the video field, and click out for the video preview to load.
