Typeform and Zapier connect to automate form workflows. You can trigger actions when forms are submitted and create new forms or update existing ones.
Prerequisites
To use the Typeform app on Zapier, you must have:
- An active Typeform account (free or paid plan).
- At least one published Typeform ready for integration.
- Add Zapier to Typeform's Connect panel.
- If you want to trigger from partial responses, you must be on a Basic Typeform plan or higher and enable "Send partial responses to integrations" in your Typeform account settings. Learn more about Typeform's plan availability for this feature.
Connect Typeform to Zapier
To create an app connection to Typeform on Zapier:
- Go to the Apps page.
- Click + Add connection.
- A new dialog box will appear. Search for and select Typeform.
- Click Add connection.
- A new browser tab or window will open.
- Log into Typeform to authenticate.
- Grant Zapier permission to access your account if prompted to.
Your Typeform account is now successfully connected to Zapier.

When you connect Typeform to any app through Zapier, Typeform will automatically submit a test response to your Typeform. You'll find this in your results.

Limitations
- API rate limits apply. Typeform's Create and Responses APIs are limited to two requests per second per Typeform account, which may affect high-volume Zapier automations.
- File uploads are limited by Typeform plan (1GB on Basic, 2GB on Plus, 4GB on Business and higher), which may restrict the type of data that can be processed through Zapier.
- Form is in a Shared Workspace will not appear in the dropdown menu fields unless you are the owner. To use a form you do not own, manually enter the form ID, as a custom value in the dropdown.
