Prerequisites
To use the Pardot app on Zapier, you must have:
- A paid Zapier plan. Pardot is a premium app on Zapier.
- A Salesforce org with Account Engagement (Pardot) enabled and properly configured.
- An SSO-enabled Salesforce user who can log in to pi.pardot.com using "Log In with Salesforce" or access Account Engagement using the Account Engagement Lightning App.
- Proper user permissions in Salesforce, including either the Account Engagement User, Sales Cloud User, Service Cloud User, or CRM User permission set license assigned to the user.
Connect Pardot to Zapier
To create an app connection to Pardot on Zapier:
- Go to the Apps page.
- Click + Add connection.
- A new dialog box will appear. Search for and select Pardot.
- Click Add connection.
- A Connect an Account page will open in a new browser tab or window will open.
- Complete the following fields:
- Salesforce Environment: Select your environment you want to connect to.
- Pardot Business Unit ID: Enter your Account Engagement Business ID (begins with "0Uv" and is 18 characters long). Learn more about finding Salesforce Account Engagement Business ID.

API Version: Select the Pardot API you wish to use.
- Version 4 is the recommended and most common choice. Select this option if you are unsure which version to use. Version 3 is for older Pardot or Salesforce accounts that have not enabled the "Allow Multiple Prospects with the Same Email Address (AMPSEA)" feature.
- Log into Pardot to authenticate.
- Grant Zapier permission to access your account if prompted to.
Your Pardot account is now successfully connected to Zapier.

Limitations
- Daily API call limits apply. The API supports up to five concurrent connections and daily call limits depend on your Pardot edition (Growth: 25,000 calls per day).
- You must use the Campaign ID (not the Campaign Name) when referencing campaigns in Zapier.
