Zoom and Zapier connect to automate your meetings. You can trigger actions when meetings end or recordings complete and create new meetings or registrants.
Prerequisites
To use the Zoom app on Zapier, you must have:
- A Zoom account (free Basic account or any paid plan).
- For webinar-related integrations: A paid Zoom account with a Zoom Video Webinar license.
- For webinar registrations: Webinars must have registration set to required.
- Zapier added to your Zoom App Marketplace.
- To trigger for all users, you need to be added as a user to the Zoom App Marketplace with either User with Shared Access or Admin permissions.
Connect Zoom to Zapier
To create an app connection to Zoom on Zapier:
- Go to the Apps page.
- Click + Add connection.
- A new dialog box will appear. Search for and select Zoom.
- Click Add connection.
- A new browser tab or window will open.
- Log into Zoom to authenticate.
- Grant Zapier permission to access your account if prompted to.
- To trigger for all users, select Allow this app to use share access permissions checkbox.
Your Zoom account is now successfully connected to Zapier.

Actions
- Create Meeting - Creates a new Zoom Meeting. (Options not available here will default to user/account Zoom settings.)
- Create Webinar Registrant - Creates a new webinar registrant.
- API Request (Beta) - This is an advanced action which makes a raw HTTP request that includes this integration's authentication.
- Create Meeting Registrant - Creates a new meeting registrant.
- Delete Meeting Recordings - Deletes all recordings for a specified meeting, with an option to move them to trash or permanently delete them.
- Update Zoom Meeting - This action updates a Zoom meeting. The user will provide the meeting ID as a required field and the agenda and alternative hosts as optional fields.
Limitations
- Rate limits are applied at the account level. These rate limits are shared by users for all apps installed on the account, which can affect Zapier integrations when multiple automations are running simultaneously.
- Meeting and Webinar create/update requests are limited to 100 per day per user. This applies to all Meeting/Webinar IDs hosted by the user and resets at 00:00 UTC daily.
- You can only have one app connection to one Zoom account connected to your Zapier account at a time. If you add a new one, the previous app connection will be disconnected.
