PandaDoc and Zapier connect to automate document workflows. You can trigger actions when documents are completed or sent and create new documents from templates.
Prerequisites
To use the PandaDoc app on Zapier, you must have:
- A PandaDoc Business or Enterprise plan.
- An active PandaDoc account with proper workspace access (if using multiple workspaces, ensure you connect the correct one).
- Access to PandaDoc Settings Integrations to enable the Zapier connection.
Connect PandaDoc to Zapier
To create an app connection to PandaDoc on Zapier:
- Go to the Apps page.
- Click + Add connection.
- A new dialog box will appear. Search for and select PandaDoc.
- Click Add connection.
- A new browser tab or window will open.
- Log into PandaDoc to authenticate.
- Grant Zapier permission to access your account if prompted to.
Your PandaDoc account is now successfully connected to Zapier.

Limitations
- The Create Document action in PandaDoc allows information insertion for only one product at a time. For multiple products, data must be formatted as an array of items.
- If role names in PandaDoc contain an underscore (_), errors might occur in the "Create document" action causing recipient information to map incorrectly and the Zap will fail during testing.
- When using the Create Document action, new PDF documents cannot be uploaded through Zapier. However, uploaded PDFs saved as PandaDoc templates can be used.
- PandaDoc Forms do not support approval workflows. Documents with status types "To approve," "Approved," and "Rejected" will not work with "Document Status Changed" triggers.
- It's not possible to use ID check in the standard "Create document" action in Zapier. A workaround requires using API request action for document creation.
- If you have several workspaces in your PandaDoc account, you will only see sample templates from the workspace you connected to Zapier during setup.
- Fields must have values added to the "Merge field" property in PandaDoc templates to display in Zapier.
