Gladia and Zapier connect to automate audio transcription. You can upload audio files and create transcriptions with AI-powered features.
Prerequisites
To use the Gladia app on Zapier, you must have:
- A Gladia account
Connect Gladia to Zapier
To create an app connection to Gladia on Zapier:
- Go to the Apps page.
- Click + Add connection.
- A new dialog box will appear. Search for and select Gladia.
- Click Add connection.
- A Connect an Account page will open in a browser tab or window.
- In the API Key: field, enter your Gladia API key.
- Learn how to find your Gladia API key.
- Click Yes, Continue to Gladia.
Your Gladia account is now successfully connected to Zapier.

- Create Transcription - Create a transcription job for an uploaded audio file using Gladia AI.
- API Request (Beta) - This is an advanced action which makes a raw HTTP request that includes this integration's authentication.
- Upload File - Upload an audio file to Gladia. Combine with the Create Transcription create to transcribe the file.
Limitations
- Maximum audio length is 135 minutes per single request (120 minutes for direct YouTube links), with enterprise plans supporting up to 4h15.
- Audio files must not exceed 1000 MB in size, larger files will not be accepted by the API.
- Concurrency limits apply by plan type.
- Gladia free tier users are limited to 10 hours of transcription per month.
- Only specific audio and video formats are supported.
