To assign an assessment to a student account into Wonderlic, please follow the instructions listed below and access the following link for a video tutorial.
There are two methods to access the Assign Task window.
Method 1:
When creating a new user, you will have the option to directly assign a task and create their account at the same time by selecting "Add & Assign Task"
Method 2:
- Navigate to Summary of Students page by selecting the campus and program where the student is located.
- On the Summary of Student page, select the box next to the student's name and click Assign Tasks to open the Assign Task window.
Once the Assign Task window has been opened, you will see the following window and will need to take note of a few items:
Tasks:
- This is where you will select the test the student is required to take.
- There may be more than 1 test available depending on the program the student has been added to.
- Test - The student will be taking the test for the first time.
- Re-Test - The student has already taken the test but will need to retest.
Administration Type:
- This is how the test will be administered to the student.
- Start Now (Proctored Exam) - Used when a student is taking an in-person exam and the proctor is setting up their exam on an on-site computer. This will immediately launch the exam.
- Send Invitation (Not Proctored Exam)- An email with a link to the exam will be sent to the email on file for that student's account. If there is no email saved to that student's account, this option will not appear.
- Issue Pin (Proctored and Not Proctored Exam) - Creates a PDF with an issued PIN that the student will need to enter to begin the exam (if you don't see the PDF, select the Print Manager button found on the top of your screen). You can assign multiple exams to students using the issue pin method. These exams can be done both on-site and remotely.
Reasonable Accommodation
- Enabling this option will double testing time if a student has demonstrated the need for such accommodation.
- Accommodations must be approved by the Campus Director or Director of Education.
- Accommodations can only be enabled by admin users (may need to send a ticket to support@smithchason.edu to enable).
Select the proper setting depending on each student and select Go to assign the task.
